Richard Watson is a handsome young man born into a wealthy family. He is a successful clockmaker who, only after being acquainted to her for two days, decides to marry a young golddigger named Lu Lu Sinclair, a lady bartender with a shady past.

It's 1943 as the happy couple set out to marry in Las Vegas when a sudden car failure leaves them stranded on a desert highway. As night draws near the couple find a run down motel and decide to stay the night, hoping to fix the car by morning. Magda Von Strupp is the owner of the motel who casts a spell or two. Soon their stay grows stranger and odd things begin to happen.

They ultimately discover the motel is actually a former mental facility. The couple realize time is running out and days get mixed up, as does their desire to become committed to each other forever.
